At the breakfast session and at the breaks between sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to review poster presentations, interact with the authors, discuss topics from the lectures, and view the exhibit area. Faculty will be in the breakfast area meeting informally with the attendees.<\/p>\n
Rheumatology 2024: Year in Review.<\/h5>\n
Two speakers will present and discuss the most relevant and important papers\/abstracts\/news stories\/etc from the previous year. At the end, there will be time for audience Q&A and discussion.<\/p>\n
Outside the Box \/ How I do it \/ Ask the Consultant<\/h5>\n
One speaker will cover a topic crucial to rheumatologists from their personal perspective, supplemented by literature review, followed by audience Q&A and discussion.<\/p>\n
Hot Topic \/ State of the Art<\/h5>\n
One speaker will cover a topic of particular new relevance to rheumatologists, presenting the latest evidence, recommendations, and supporting data, followed by audience Q&A and discussion.<\/p>\n
Point – Counterpoint:<\/h5>\n
Two speakers will defend opposite sides of a statement proposed, related to a controversial subject, using the best data to support their arguments.<\/p>\n
Beyond the Package Insert<\/h5>\n
One faculty member will review the history, literature, and, most importantly, relevant issues concerning optimal current usage of a rheumatology therapeutic agent<\/p>\n
Evidence Based Medicine<\/h5>\n
One faculty member reviews and presents the best available evidence for a key topic, followed by audience Q&A and discussion.<\/p>\n
The Hot Seat<\/h5>\n
One faculty member presents cases to a panel of faculty and to the audience to stimulate discussion on approaches to challenging rheumatology cases.<\/p>\n
